7-Nation Welcomes Chico Bukovansky as Chief Revenue Officer

7-Nation is pleased to announce Chico Bukovansky will be joining the company in the newly established role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Bukovansky, a notable figure in the action-sports industry for more than 25 years, starts his new role on March 8, joining the rest of the 7-Nation crew at the headquarters in Hood River, Oregon. 7-Nation owns and operates subsidiaries Slingshot Sports and Ride Engine.

Bukovansky brings a wealth of sales and go-to-market leadership experience to 7-Nation. Most recently, he served as the VP of Global Sales at Dakine, where he worked for more than two decades. In his role as CRO, Bukovansky will oversee sales and marketing operations for all 7-Nation brands.

According to 7-Nation CEO, Jeff Logosz, “Chico has extensive relationship and business management experience. We are very excited to welcome him to our C-Suite team. Chico is a multisport enthusiast for both the winter and summer seasons. His affection for gear and the global specialty channels in which it’s marketed and sold make him a perfect fit to lead our sales and marketing efforts. We are confident his background and experience will help all of our employees  and global partners achieve the highest levels of success.

In my 30 plus years in Hood River,” said Bukovansky, “I have always watched and admired the Logosz brother’s creative and innovative approach to product design and development.  They have never been afraid to push the limits within the space. Watching them launch Slingshot and then seeing the progression of the brand’s category leadership over the years has been impressive. The opportunity to join a category-leading group of brands that has a passionate staff and team all in my local community is one that I am excited to dive into.
